Today I discovered something useful about those humans.
They can rub your ears!
I mean, usually they want to touch my pretty ears…and frankly, they can forget about that.
But…my ears do itch, especially with those beastly flies biting them all the time.
So when my human put me back in the field today, I had a nice roll and since she was still standing there, I came back to check out if there’s something edible to be had.
Well, there wasn’t.
But then…then she found that itchy spot, just below my ear, and rubbed it…
I damn near made weird noises, it was so nice. I can never get that spot when I rub my face in the grass, and it itches and irritates me.
When she reached up, I thought she wanted to touch my ears and I tried to avoid it. But oh…she rubbed BOTH sides for about ten minutes. I was in heaven!
Well, we went out anyway. But there’s something really weird in the field by the gate.
Two black things, no horns, but big yellow things in their ears. Baby black things. Their mom is in the field too and keeps an eye on them, but…two? At once? Wow.
They are kind of cute, but they are nosy and they freak
me the human out a little.
See for yourself!
On another note…
While we were out today, she made me walk under the noisy dark covered thing again. She says it’s just a railway bridge, and nothing to be afraid of.
As if I’m afraid. Sheesh!
So we get there, on our way home…and a TRAIN MONSTER went over the top!
I ran. To save the human, of course. I wouldn’t run for any other reason.
I was very worried (for her) and she got off and led me back, because I don’t think I would have carried her under it. Just in case the monster comes back.
We got home, but yikes. That was a close call!
