I’ve decided to have a new section after getting a desperate question from “HosedHorse”. He was clearly embarrassed, but alas… I will endeavor to help.
recently my human has started to spray water on me.
I wouldn’t mind so much, but she uses a SNAKE to do it!
It scares me.
It lies there, coiled, ready to strike… I keep having to dance around to avoid getting bitten.
Sometimes it hisses, and it spits at me!
What should I do? I don’t want to look like a wuss.
I can see why this is worrying.
There you are, trying to be all tough and protective of your human–and then you’re confronted with a snake.
I’ve seen those snakes. I do my best to ignore them, but it’s not easy.
My human doesn’t use them, she uses a sponge and a bucket to give me a bath, but I’d be worried too if she used a snake.
I don’t have much experience with them, but I’ve seen other horses valiantly step on them.
It stops the hissing and spitting, and sometimes we all get a good chuckle when the human tries to figure out why…and gets wet when the horse lifts its foot.
Maybe you should try this? Maybe, if your person gets more wet than you, it will stop them using a snake?
I hope this helps!
